United Energy Streamlines Integration Processes with Leonardo Assessment and Recommendations

  • United Energy & Multinet Gas (UEMG) engaged Leonardo Consulting to review their existing integration platform (Software AG webMethods) and assess roadmap ahead of an upgrade.
  • Leonardo conducted a detailed discovery exercise, assessed the integration solution complexity, reviewed in-flight projects, and captured stakeholder needs. The team presented UEMG with solution options, including an upgrade to the platform, technology replacement, and as-a-service alternatives.
  • The work performed by Leonardo resulted in a Current State Integration Architecture and Platform Report for the senior executive team, a high-level capability assessment, and a Target State Integration Platform Blueprint. These deliverables improved visibility on the existing platform, cost savings on the commercial licensing arrangement, and operational improvements to UEMG's key platform infrastructure.

Better B2B Communication for TWE with Innovative and Cost-Effective Integration

  • TWE, a leading global beverage distributor in APAC, wanted to find simple and cost-effective solutions for communicating with their partners.
  • Leonardo helped TWE design and develop their webMethods integration to seamlessly onboarding trading partners to the B2B.io platform, configuring monitoring and analytics, setting up a communication channel, and creating a complex flow service for data retrieval.
  • The solution allowed TWE to automatically translate orders from EDI files to XML format and vice versa, and process order updates in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Leonardo enables Momentum modernise with webMethods upgrade

  • Momentum Energy, a company involved in a rationalisation and virtualisation program, was facing a challenging situation with their outdated webMethods instance used for gas-related communications with AEMO.
  • With Leonardo's expertise and guidance, Momentum Energy was able to successfully upgrade and migrate their webMethods Gas Gateway environment while reducing the risk posed by the aged state of the instance and the server.
  • The phased approach enabled Momentum Energy to understand and initiate the migration project, ensuring a smooth transition of the gas supply data and the webMethods instance out of the current data center.
