Furthermore, customising the marketplace cluster and including the operations and developments assets to be production-ready is not part of the marketplace offering. The Leonardo Base Platform Stack is more than just an Openshift Container Platform cluster.
Openshift is more than just a Kubernetes based container management platform. Openshift extends the functionality of Kubernetes in so many ways. This includes implementing vital additional capabilities within the application build lifecycle, security model, enterprise useability, and networking.
Leonardo has been delivering Openshift for customers, both on premise and in the cloud for customers since early 2017. The Base Platform Stack evolved from this ongoing experience in early 2018 and has been road tested with many customers. The current offering is the culmination of significant investment and customer feedback.
Yes. Leonardo can offer a fully managed environment, including Openshift and Azure.
Leonardo can deliver the Base Platform Stack from Openshift version 3.6 to the latest version of Openshift (version 3.11 at time of publication). Whilst Leonardo recommends customers use the latest stable release of Openshift, Leonardo can also deliver a specific version if required.
Yes. Leonardo can offer customers a proof of concept environment for evaluation purposes. Costs may be incurred.
Yes. The Base Platform Stack is typically deployed in a highly available architecture. This includes multiple master, infrastructure, and application nodes to ensure there are no single points of failure. Customising the cluster deployment architecture to suit the non-funtional requirements is a standard practice.
Yes. Leonardo has offices across Australia. Leonardo services customers throughout New Zealand as well as customers abroad.
Yes. Openshift is configured to use the authentication provider appropriate for the implementation. Openshift fully supports Active Directory.
