United Energy and Multinet Gas (UEMG) implemented Software AG webMethods enterprise integration platform to manage their Market Gateway, Market System Interface (MSI) and “application to application” (A2A) integration. As the existing webMethods platform was due to be upgraded, UEMG requested Leonardo to help drive benefits of further investment in their current platform (including capability, suitability and associated costs), in comparison to investment and benefits of alternative solutions.
United Energy and Multinet Gas (UEMG) have implemented the Software AG webMethods enterprise integration platform to manage their Market Gateway, Market System Interface (MSI), and Application-to-Application (A2A) integration. As their webMethods v8 platform was due to be upgraded, UEMG has engaged Leonardo Consulting to provide a platform update review which identified the benefits of continued investment in the current platform, in comparison to investment and benefits of alternative solutions (including capability, suitability and associated costs).
UEMG was presented with solution options, such as Business Better Than Usual (BBTU) platform upgrade, direct technology replacement, and as-a-service alternatives.
Leonardo conducted and facilitate a detailed discovery exercise and review UEMG's current integration architecture landscape, performing an assessment of integration solution complexity, list platform stability issues, review in-flight projects and up-coming business requirements, capture stakeholder matrix.
