Leonardo Consulting (“we” or “us” or “our” ) takes your privacy seriously and acknowledge our responsibilities under the Privacy Act 1988 in particular the privacy provisions in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 and the 10 National Privacy Principles.

Collection, Use and Retention of Personal Information
Leonardo Consulting collects and retains the personal information of an individual that relates to an activity, function or transaction. Leonardo Consulting will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information collected, used or disclosed is accurate and complete. In collecting personal information, where practicable and subject to the discretion of Leonardo Consulting, you will be afforded the option of anonymity.
We will not purposely collect from you sensitive personal information such as religious beliefs, ethinic origin, health, membership of unions or professional associations unless it is with your consent or if it is required by law for Leonardo Consulting to do so or in other circumstances as outlined in Privacy Principle No. 10.
Method of Collection
The majority of information collected by Leonardo Consulting collects about an individual comes from that individual directly. However, Leonardo Consulting may from time to time, seek personal information from a third party. In such cases, unless Leonardo Consulting has already done so, at the time of or before it collects such information, all reasonable steps will be taken by Leonardo Consulting to inform you about whom the information is sought:
* The purpose for which the information is being collected;
* Where applicable, any law requiring the information to be collected, and
* The main consequences if all or part of the infromation is not provided.
Use of Cookies & Log Files
When you visit our sites, a cookie ( a very small log file) is placed on your computer if you have enabled it to accept cookies. A cookie is a piece of data stored on your hard disk which allows us to recognise your computer. This information assists us in tracking site visitation statistics in aggregate form. It does not provide any personal information.
You may, at any time, manually configure your browser to refuse cookies. You may also delete any existing cookies from your hard drive. However, by doing so you may restrict your access to our sites.

Sharing Information
Leonardo Consulting may use or disclose personal information without consent where:
* It is for a reasonably expected purpose related to the purposes for which the information was collected in accordance with this Privacy Policy
* It is part of the process relating to the nature of the business conducted;
Leonardo Consulting will not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
Holding Information
Most of the personal information held by Leonardo Consulting is held in a combination of computer storage facilities, paper based files and other records. This information is held in secure locations that is accessed only by staff to perform a specific task. Personally identifiable information held on servers is kept in a secure location.
Correcting, Updating or Removing Your Personal Information
If your personal information is incorrect, changes are required or if you no longer wish to receive information from Leonardo Consulting, we will correct, update or remove your information as soon as possible. This can be done by emailing admin@leonardo.com.au.
