Chris Nagel

Chris Nagel, Managing Director of Leonardo Consulting, is a specialist in the establishment of process management environments and projects and the provision of specific methodology consulting. He also has expertise in general business process analysis and management and the facilitation of process modelling workshops.

 

PROF. Michael Rosemann

Michael is an Associate with Leonardo Consulting. He is also Professor for Information Systems at the Queensland University of Technology and Co-Leader of the University’s BPM Research Group. His research covers BPM Maturity Management, BPM Governance and Process Modelling. Author of five books and 130 refereed papers, he has presented at courses and conferences in 20 countries. Michael is an Editorial Board Member of seven international journals. Besides his academic career, Michael has extensive consulting experiences in Europe and Australasia.

 

Prof. Thomas Gulledge

Dr Thomas Gulledge is President of Enterprise Integration, Inc. (EII) and Enterprise Integration Pte Ltd (Singapore). He is Professor Emeritus of Public Policy and Engineering at George Mason University, Virginia USA. For over 25 years he has worked on the management and technical aspects of enterprise integration. Through his university research laboratory, he managed an extensive research program in Extended Enterprise Integration. Through his company, EII, he has transferred many of these research concepts into reality with projects in the USA, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Dr Gulledge is also a co-director of the Enterprise Consulting Alliance, a USA/Asia-Pacific consulting organisation formed by EII and Leonardo Consulting.

 

Roger Tregear

Roger is a Consulting Director in the Leonardo Consulting team. He spends his working life talking, consulting, thinking and writing about analysis, improvement and management of business processes. Often working as a “thinking partner” and mentor, he provides business process and problem analysis consulting services. He has been involved in many business analysis, technology and marketing assignments. 28 years experience as a business, management and IT consultant means that Roger has well developed insight into the nature of business improvement and problem resolution. Roger is also the manager of Leonardo Education and delivers many of the courses in the BPM curriculum.

 

Carmen Wieckhorst

For the last 10 years Carmen has provided specialist support to ARIS projects implementing BPM and Enterprise Architecture Management around the world. Working originally as a Product Consultant with IDS Scheer and now as a Consulting Director with Leonardo Consulting, she has developed deep knowledge in the application of process management techniques, the entire ARIS Process Platform and SAP Solution Manager.

 

Alastair Brooke

Coming from a business background in facility management, Alastair has worked in a broad spectrum of positions, all of which have proven to be important waypoints along the path to his current and enduring special interest in BPM. Alastair has had considerable exposure to the realities of what it means to be responsible for business performance results, maintenance of enterprise-wide quality outcomes and the continuous improvement of business processes. Alastair is a Consulting Principal in the Leonardo Consulting team and manager of our NSW operations.

 

Martin Flaig

Martin has over 12 years professional experience in project management, process calculation, process optimisation, training and coaching, change management, consulting, sales and software development.  Martin’s consulting and project experience is vast and industry knowledge broad.  He has implemented BPM and ARIS projects within utility and logistics companies, financial institutions, telecommunications and insurance firms. Martin is a Consulting Principal in the Leonardo Consulting team and manager of WA operations.

 

Mervin Chiang

Mervin’s experience in software integration, customisation, service and process design enables him to approach Business Process Management from an Information Technology perspective. This includes tool customisation, training, business analysis, integration and implementations using ARIS methodologies and Service-Oriented Architecture concepts.

 

BASSAM ALKHARASHI

Bassam AlKharashi the CEO of ES Consulting and an Associate of Leonardo Consulting in the Arab States. A resident of Riyadh, Bassam has 14 years of experience in information, communications, technology, marketing and operations management working in leading public and private organisations in Saudi Arabia. He is an experienced consultant and an accredited instructor in the global BPTrends Associates network. During his career, he has participated in various projects and committees in performance improvement, business process management, quality management and strategic planning. Until 2009, Bassam was the Deputy Director General of Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Medical & Educational Telecommunications Program (MeduNet).

 

Dr. Phillip Kazanis

Phillip has 12 years experience in the Information Technology and Business Process fields. He has delivered lectures and training courses on technology and business process topics for various audiences. Phillip also has considerable experience working with different business process modelling and management applications, such as ARIS from IDS Scheer, Casewise Corporate Modeler, Lombardi Teamworks, Rational Rose and Microsoft VISIO. Phillip’s PhD research was also in BPM.

 

Lida du Plessis

Lida joined Leonardo Consulting after five years as Process Analyst in the Credit Card industry at major banks in South Africa and Switzerland. Her experience spans the complete Business Process Management lifecycle; from definition, documentation and maintenance of an ARIS database of core processes to the implementation of process cost management tools which support corporate efficiency and drive continuous improvement

 

Marcel BrechbueHler

Marcel has over 20 years professional experience in IT as a developer and IT Engineer. This includes application implementation and customisation, business analysis and integration. He brings a client focus, coupled with highly developed analysis and design skills.

 

Craig Bekker

Craig has 10 years process and process related experience in the banking, insurance, utilities and hospitality industries. Craig has been involved in a large range of projects covering process definition, reengineering, training and implementation. A specific area of interest has been in the building and ongoing development of business process management (BPM) capabilities within large corporate environments. Craig is experienced in diagramming and modeling in tools such as Visio and ARIS.

 

Alan Fernandes

Alan Fernandes has over 9 years experience in Business Process Management consulting services, developing and implementing business process capabilities throughout various industry sectors, such as banking, utilities, mining and resourcing sectors, ranging from large to small. He has been involved and managed a broad range of projects relating to the design and implementation of business processes using various frameworks and process methodologies, such as ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library); CMMI (Capability Maturity Model); and IBM’s Business Process Framework.

 

MARCO FARGNOLI

Marco’s 25 years experience in small to large business operations from the ‘shop floor’ as an Avionics Technician to the ‘Executive boardroom’ as the Global Business Process Manager for GE Aviation Systems has provided in depth business knowledge and an excellent practical foundation to his academic qualification, Master in Business Process Management. Marco is passionate about helping people. His enthusiasm for process-based management is contagious.

 

Jozua Haumann

Jozua Haumann has 10 years experience in the Information Technology field in roles covering the full software development lifecycle.  The last seven years of his career has focused on business process management while specialising for the last three years on Business Architecture (Process, Organisation, Information, Product and Services) and Enterprise Architecture.  He has been exposed to various process and architecture frameworks, and has successfully used and designed methodologies to drive business value.

 

Kristin Werner

Kristin joined the Leonardo Consulting team in 2006. During this time she has gained a good working knowledge of the ARIS methodology and tools and business process management in general. Kristin has specialist expertise in the use and management of the ARIS platform including development of standards and conventions databases, analysis and modelling of business processes, quality assurance of ARIS models, facilitating business requirements gathering workshops, delivery of training courses and workshops and coaching of new process personnel.

 

George Smith

George is a Business Analyst with over 10 years experience in Information Systems development and Business Process Modelling and design. In the last 18 months George has been performing the Business Architect role for the ARIS Business Process Modelling Platform. He has experience working throughout the whole of the development life cycle, from project initiation to final implementation.

 

Sandeep Johal

Sandeep has been consulting and managing projects for almost two years and has recently joined Leonardo Consulting. He has gained a good working knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM) with particular attention to process analysis and modelling. His extensive research in Enterprise Architecture has focused on various frameworks such as Zachman and TOGAF.


ANDERS Østergaard JENSEN

Anders has seven years of experience with systems engineering, enterprise architecture and process management. His career spans from government and public sector customers to European defence projects. Anders is experienced with both ARIS and Oracle BPA. He also has extensive experience with relational databases and enterprise integration platforms. Anders is an experienced IT architect and has designed, architected, and implemented several mission-critical, secure, large scale deployments.

 

MAIRE HESTER

Máire joined the Leonardo Consulting team in 2010 with five years experience in process improvement. She has a good working knowledge of the ARIS methodology and business process management in general and has recently worked on a major project, in the mining industry, with responsibility for the analysis, modelling and integration of process streams aligned to ITIL v3. Máire has also been involved in extensive systems and process testing on current and other previous projects.
