Which BPM Technology Should I Use?
Based on his intimate knowledge of the industry and the extensive BPTrends research base, Paul Harmon will lead this Master Class during Leonardo ProcessDays to bring order and understanding to an important aspect of BPM.

BPM technology – hardware, software, services and standards – is an increasingly complex topic.
Paring away the hype and separating aspirations from actuality, Paul will describe the various types of BPM technology, how they are used (and abused) and how organisations should prepare for their introduction. He will also look forward to giving some insight into what future developments might bring.

This is a Master Class for both technical and business people. Take home a better understanding of how BPM technologies can be used to best effect. Learn the language of BPM technology.

Creating and Managing a Process-Centric Organisation
So how do you build on the process improvement cycle to create and manage a truly process centric organisation? How does corporate strategy drive process-based management? How do you model a process architecture? Where do you start? Can a process architecture really reflect a complex organisation? Is enterprise-wide process governance even possible? What should a BPM Centre of Excellence or Process Office do and where should it live?

In this Master Class during the Leonardo ProcessDays event, Paul Harmon and Roger Tregear will explore these important enterprise level BPM issues and give specific practical advice about how to create and manage an effective and sustainable process-centric organisation.

Demystifying Agile Process Execution
The holy grail of BPM systems is to build an environment where business processes can be modelled and then executed directly; not used to program an application, but executed directly. This is often known as the process-to-application cycle. What would it mean if we could do this? It would mean that our IT systems would deliver exactly what our business process models asked for. It would facilitate genuinely agile IT responses to changes in business requirements. It would mean flexible collaboration between business and IT. So how do we achieve this agile process execution?

Specifically designed to give a business view of these concepts, this Master Class will:
- provide a vision of true business flexibility
- explain the roles of Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) and BPM
- show how BPM is used to create and manage the new applications environment
- provide a roadmap for the achievement of agile process execution
- demystify the concepts and language of agile process execution and show the significant benefits to be gained.
